POISONED Russian opposition chief Alexei Navalny is ready to depart his mattress.

It comes as labs in France and Sweden confirmed he was poisoned with Soviet-era nerve agent Novichok.

Mr Navalny, a outstanding critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin, was flown to Germany two days after falling sick on a home flight in Russia in August.
